Unveiling the Satine Pro, a groundbreaking milk packaging design by L3branding that merges the principles of Cubism, abstractionism, and ultrafiltration technology. This design, inspired by the deconstruction and reorganization of realistic scenes in art, introduces a high-end identity to a daily commodity.

The Satine Pro, a representative brand of China's high-end milk, launched China's first ultrafiltration milk in 2021. With a protein content as high as 6g/100mL, it stands out in the market. The packaging design is a unique blend of art, science, and nature. The number "6", representing the high protein content, is deconstructed and recombined with natural elements such as cows and plants to create a striking visual center. The result is a design that is both visually appealing and informative.

The design process was not without its challenges. Ultrafiltration milk is a unique category that had not been well represented globally. Most products in this category resemble "functional milk" or "milk beverages". The core mission of L3branding was to define the characteristics of this new subcategory through design, while maintaining Satine's natural and light luxury style. The goal was to further strengthen the high-end feeling to support the product's high price.

The design team, led by Creative Director Guanru Li and designers Zhenxing Shi and Zhengyang Xuan, embarked on this project in July 2021 in Beijing. By December 2021, they had successfully completed the design, which was released in China in January 2022. The dimensions of the packaging are 50mm*50mm*180mm, making it compact and convenient for consumers.

The Satine Pro design was recognized for its creativity and innovation, winning the Silver A' Packaging Design Award in 2022. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation, strong technical characteristics, and splendid artistic skill. It is a testament to the design's ability to evoke positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
